Re: Blas Na Gàidhlig

Got it last weekend. It looks to be a very informative book and I received the bag as well. I have just started going through the exercises. This should give me alot to do over the summer as my regular classes have ended until fall.

Gaelic Books Council it is for me then. I got tired of waiting for amazon, plus I like helping smaller businesses.

Re: Blas Na Gàidhlig

Sìol doesn't have a listing for it at the moment. Amazon said it was to be available today but now it says it is out of print. Might just have to order it from over seas

Blas Na Gàidhlig

A new book is coming out "Blas na Gàidhlig" that aims to help learners with the sometimes tricky gaelic pronunction. There isn't any decription on the USA Amazon site, but I looked on Amazon.uk and they had a pretty good description. The author of the book the book also runs a very useful ...

Firefox in Gaelic

In the most recent Bìdeag AGCA Rudy mentioned you can get OpenOffice and Google in Gaelic. I have also found that you can get the Firefox web browser in Gaelic. I have posted a link. It is far too advanced for me at this stage, but I am sure others on here will enjoy it. http://www.mozilla.com/gd/ B...

Re: Grandfather Mountain

One final question. Is the contact information for Kris Stewart correct. I called the number and it was a McRae-Lees number but it wasn't Kris Stewart. I left a message anyway but haven't heard back.

Thanks,
Brendan

Re: Grandfather Mountain

Will a confirmation letter or e-mail be sent? I sent off my registration this week. I am looking forward to the classes. What kind of progress can I expect at beginner level?

Re: Grandfather Mountain

I am planning to stay for the games as well. Is the money for the extra nights paid separatly from the course fees, or is it added together.

Re: Tell Us About Yourself

Hallo, Is mise Breandán MacSuibhne (Brendan Sweeney). Tha beagan Gaidhlig agam. At the moment that is all the Gaelic I can write unless I write about sheep on the croft near a rock. I actually started with Irish Gaelic when I lived in Ohio. I have since moved to Virginia and found there were no Iris...
