halò

Postby Jennifer Gardner » July 18th, 2014, 7:57 am

Is mise Fionnabhair (Jennifer 'sa Bheurla), agus 's ann às na Stàitean a tha mi. Tha mi fuireach ann an Richmond, Virginia an-dràsta, còmhla ri an duine agam 's mo mhac as òige. Thòisich mi ag ionsachadh na Gàidhlig o chionn tri bliadhna leis an Atlantic Gaelic Academy, agus ged nach eil an Gàidhlig agam cho math fhathast, feuchaidh mi a dh'ionsachadh rudegin ùr gach latha. Chaidh mi gu Beinn Seanair as t-Samhradh seo, agus chòrd e rium gu mòr air sgàth 's gun robh iomadh duine còir ann 's Gàidhlig gu leòr!

I'm Fionnabhair (Jennifer in English) and I'm from the States. I live in Richmond, Virginia now, with my husband and youngest son. I started learning Gaelic three years ago with the Atlantic Gaelic Academy, and although my Gaelic isn't so good yet, I try to learn something new each day. I went to Beinn Seanair this summer, and enjoyed it a lot because there were many fine people and a lot of Gaelic!

A Fhionnabhair,

Nice to see you here.

I respectfully disagree that your Gaelic "isn't so good yet". You converse very well. :D
